Types. Holotype ♀, CHINA, Yunnan, Lushui County, Yaojiaping, at Pianma Road 44.7 km, 25.97479°N, 98.71027°E, alt. 2516m, disturbed forest; dusting webs in understory, 19–20 May 2005, Charles Griswold leg. Etymology. This epithet derives from the type locality.
Diagnosis. The new species resembles Nematogmus longior Song & Li, 2008 in the ventral plate with two small shallow semicircular lobes with depression posteriorly and U-shaped spermathecae ( Fig. 230A–C View FIGURE 230 ; Song & Li, 2008, fig. 4G), but can be distinguished by the copulatory ducts with 3 spiral coils in N. lushuiensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 230B, C View FIGURE 230 ), whereas with two spiral coils in N. longior (Song & Li, 2008, fig. 4B, E). Dorsal plate rectangular in N. lushuiensis sp. nov. ( Fig. 230A–C View FIGURE 230 ), whereas trapezoidal in N. longior (Song & Li, 2008, fig. 4C).
Description. Female (holotype, Fig. 229C View FIGURE 229 ): Total length: 2.84. Carapace 1.23 long, 1.11 wide, orange; cervical and radial grooves distinct; cephalic region slightly elevated. Clypeus 0.29 high. Sternum longer than wide, yellowish brown,, sparsely covered with microsetae. Labium wider than long. Maxillae long, distal end broad with scopulae. Chelicerae with four promarginal and five retromarginal teeth. AER recurved, PER procurved, slightly wider. Eye sizes and interdistances: AME 0.05, ALE 0.07, PME 0.05, PLE 0.06, AME–AME 0.03, PME– PME 0.11, AME–ALE, 0.11, PME–PLE 0.09, AME– PME 0.09, ALE–ALE 0.44, PLE–PLE 0.45, ALE–PLE contiguous. Length of legs: I 5.76 (1.79, 1.78, 1.45, 0.74), II 5.37 (1.67, 1.67, 1.32, 0.71), III 4.34 (1.28, 1.27, 1.03, 0.66), IV 5.22 (1.63, 1.54, 1.29, 0.76). Leg formula I-IIIV-III. Tm I 0.43, Tm IV present. All tibia dorsally with two to three long trichobothria. Tibial spine formula: 1-1- 1-1. Abdomen 2.12 long, 1.79 wide, oval, black, dorsally with two pairs of sigillae.
Epigyne ( Fig. 230A–C View FIGURE 230 ): Ventral plate with two small shallow semicircular lobes and depressions posteriorly. Copulatory openings situated posteriorly in shallow lobes. Vulva: Dorsal plate rectangular. Copulatory ducts with three spiral coils. Spermathecae somewhat U-shaped, with short globular arms slightly overlapping the long arm. Fertilization ducts short, directed mesally.
Male. Unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality ( Fig. 234 View FIGURE 234 ).
