Type host: Actophilornis africanus (Gmelin) ( Charadriiformes : Jacanidae ) from Rwanda.
Diagnosis. Palp tarsus with 3 setae (Nz- or Na-type), solenidion absent; palp tibia without setae. Hypostomal setae Na-type. Sensillae si SAb-type, other dorsal setae Ed-type. Setae f2 and h1 replaced ventrally, Nz-type. Coxal setae Na-type, except setae 2c as microsetae. Setae 1a, 3a and 4a Na- or Nz-type. Genital, pseudanal and agenital setae Na-type.
Host and distribution. Charadriiformes (Jacanidae) : ActOphilOrnis africanus (Gmelin) from Rwanda [Southern Prov., Butare] ( Fain 1956d) and South Africa ( Fain 1963d).
