Diagnosis
This species can be distinguished from all its congeners by the combination of the following characters:
face with inner margins of eyes parallel ( Fig. 7A View Fig. 7 ); mesoscutum granulate, mesopleuron not polished
ventrally; mesosoma black dorsally and yellowish ventrally ( Fig. 7C View Fig. 7 ); metasoma with T1 2.3 × as long as broad posteriorly ( Fig. 7B View Fig. 7 ).
Material examined
Holotype COSTA RICA: 1 ♀, Cartago Prov., La Cangreja , 1950 m a.s.l., Mar.–May 1992, Gauld and Hanson leg. (BMNH).
Distribution
Costa Rica (Cartago Province).
