Material examined. 1 ♀, NEPAL, Koshi Zone, Namche Bazar, Lamjura Pass , 3780 m, 21.X.1984, L. Deharveng ( MHNG) .

Comments. This new species may easily be distinguished from N. nepalensis by the pronotum lacking discal carinae, not explanatelaterally, with rounded lateralmargins and a shallow mesal impression. In addition, the lower parts of temples are not explanate and not delimited by a stria, the eyes have seven facets and the lateral margins of the elytral are rounded, not carinate near the bases.
