Smetana, 2011: 401 ( Type locality: China, Yunnan, Lincang Pref., Laobie Shan, Wei Bo Shan pass , 24°08’16’’N 99°42’53’’E, 2375 m) GoogleMaps ; Schülke & Smetana, 2015: 1085 (Catalog of Palaearctic Region).
Material examined. CHINA: Sichuan Province [New Record]: 1 male, Dujiangyan, Puyang town, Huaxi village, 676 m, broad-leaved forest, hay stick, 7.VII.2008, coll. Haisheng Zhou & Zhongyi Zhao (IZ-CAS).
Measurements. Body length: 19.27 mm. CL: 0.96; EL: 3.58; ELS: 1.91; EW: 3.70; HL: 2.59; HW: 2.76; PO: 1.07; PL: 3.13; PW: 2.63.
Distribution. Before this study Miobdelus insolens was only recorded from Yunnan Province; it is recorded for the first time from Sichuan Province.
