(a) Subsp. recurva: Cymes View in CoL 1- to 3(-5)-flowered; bracts 3- to 5-veined. Outer sepals 3-25-4-25 mm, 5-veined. 2n=3O. Throughout the range o f the species, but absent from Sicilia.
