"Dax, St-Paul. Mandillot" ( Grateloup 1840, in captions of plate "Mollusques terrestres et fluviatiles fossiles de Dax"), France.
Remarks.
Introduced for Melanopsis buccinoides [sic] sensu Grateloup, 1840, non Olivier, 1801. The name " sublucinoides " as mentioned in Glibert (1962: 141) is an incorrect subsequent spelling.
