Locality.

Remarks.

Introduced as infrasubspecific taxon ( “mode”), which is not governed by the provisions of the Code. Moreover, the name is a nomen nudum. Pérès referred to an earlier publication of his ( Pérès 1938a), claiming that he had described the taxon there already. In that work, however, he only mentioned a subfossil and a "forme modifiée” of Melanopsis magnifica Bourguignat, 1884.
