Male. Light yellowish ( Figs 4–6 View FIGURES 1–6 ). Face, vertex and pronotum with pale brown maculae. Ocelli with an oval brown spot on either side of outer lower margin. Symmetrical strip-like brown spots on frontoclypeus. Lorum and gena light yellow. Scutellum base with a triangular hollow spots spot on either side, brown. Forewing transparent, veins brown with white spots.
Male genitalia. Male pygofer slender triangular, ventral margin with dense strong setae at apical half, apex with four equal mastoid processes. Subgenital plate at base broader than at apex, concave at midlength. Connective without dorsomedial keel. Aedeagus with long preatrium, dorsal apodeme developed; aedeagal shaft tubular, recurved dorsally, narrowest at midlength, with poor triangular subapical flanges.
Female. Ochre yellowish. Vertex ( Figs 7–9 View FIGURES 7–13. 7–9 ) with pale brown maculae. Frontoclypeus with symmetrical strip-like spots, dark brown. Clypellus apex with a spot on either side of the middle, dark brown. Scutellum with basal triangular hollow spots, area between them with dark brown maculae. Forewing ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 7–13. 7–9 ) with veins brown.
Female genitalia. Hind margin of seventh sternite with V-shaped concave ( Figs 10, 12 View FIGURES 7–13. 7–9 ). Second pair of gonapophyses arched, dorsally curved, with one tooth in distal ( Fig. 13 View FIGURES 7–13. 7–9 ).
Measurements (mm). Male: body length 6.9–7.2. Female: body length 7.0–7.3.
Material examined. CHINA: 3 males, 2 females, Ningxia Prov., Mt. Liupanshan , 8 July 2009, Zhang Xinfeng ; 1 female, Shaanxi, Zhouzhi county, Houzhenzi , 10 August 2010, Zhang Pei .
Distribution: China (Ningxia, Shaanxi), Russia.
Remarks: This species was originally described and illustrated based on the holotype male and paratype female from Russia ( Zakhvatkin 1945). Then, more figures of the male genitalia were given by subsequent authors ( Isaev 1988; Anufriev & Emeljanov 1988; Xue, Dietrich & Zhang 2020).
