Current status: Meccus phyllosoma ( Burmeister, 1835) ; combination proposed by Stål (1859: 105) and Carcavallo et al., 2000: 79.

Remarks. Lent & Wygodzinsky (1979: 394) indicated that the depository of the types of C. phyllosoma were unknown, but we found the type series in the Museum für Naturkunde.
