Diagnosis. Males of Masteria manauara differ from those of other species in the slender and elongated embolus, with narrow base ( Fig. 23B–C View FIGURE 23 ). Females resemble those of M. petrunkevitchi and M. sabrinae n. sp. in the unilobed spermathecae, but differ from them in the long and coiled ducts ( Fig. 23E–F View FIGURE 23 ).
Description. Male and female described by Bertani et al. (2013: 438). The following characters are included: eyes disposition in MEV ( Fig. 23A View FIGURE 23 ). Male palp with short tibia, twice length of cymbium, with ventral depression and retrolateral group of 12̄14 short tactile setae ( Fig. 23C View FIGURE 23 ). Cymbium as long as wide, with three apical spines. Palpal bulb globose, embolus three to four times length of tegulum and very thin ( Fig. 23B–C View FIGURE 23 ). Female spermathecae unilobate, a dense glandular region ( Fig. 23E–F View FIGURE 23 ).
