Diagnosis. Males of Masteria golovatchi resemble those of M. aimeae in the grouped megaspines on apex of tibia I ( Fig. 21B View FIGURE 21 ), but differ in the globose palpal bulb and shorter embolus ( Fig. 21C View FIGURE 21 ). Females resemble those of M. aimeae in the spermathecae with dense glandular region and projected base, but differ in the narrow and elongated lobes ( Fig. 21D–E View FIGURE 21 ).

Description. Male (Holotype). Color: Carapace in dorsal and ventral views, legs and abdomen whitish. Total length 3.29. Carapace 1.47 long, 1.13 wide. Abdomen 1.82 long. Fovea 0.07. Clypeus 0.03. Ocular tubercle 0.16 long, 0.20 wide. Eyes: six, posterior row slightly recurved ( Fig. 21A View FIGURE 21 ). AME absent, ALE 0.12, PME 0.03, PLE 0.11. Basal segment of chelicerae with 12 prolateral teeth, and 11 smaller mesobasal teeth. Labium 0.16 long, 0.26 wide. Sternum 0.68 wide, 0.82 long. Palp: femur 0.88/ patella 0.54/ tibia 0.82/ tarsus 0.47/ total 2.71; Legs I: femur 1.25/ patella 0.72/ tibia 1.10/ metatarsus 0.91/ tarsus 0.69/ total 4.67; II: 0.97/ 0.57/ 0.82/ 0.79/ 0.63/ total 3.78; III: 1.10/ 0.47/ 0.79/ 0.85/ 0.63/ 3.84; IV: 1.47/ 0.72/ 1.25/ 1.29/ 0.82/ 5.55; Leg formula 4132; Spination: palp: patella v1-1, tibia p1; Legs I: patella v1 ap, tibia p1, metatarsus v1; II: femur r1, patella v1-1, r1, tibia v1-1 -3ap, r1, metatarsus v1-1 -1, r1; III: femur p1, r1, patella v1, p1-1, r1, tibia d1-1, v1-2 -1-3ap, p1-1, r1-1, metatarsus d1-1, v3- 3 -3ap, p1-1, r1; IV: femur p1, r1, patella v2 ap, p1-1, r1, tibia d1-1, v2 b-1-2-2ap, p2-1-1, r1-1-1, metatarsus d1, v3- 3 -3ap, p1-1, r1-1-1. Tibia I with 6 strong prolateral apical spines ( Fig. 21B View FIGURE 21 ). Palpal tibia 2.5 times length of cymbium, with row of dorsal and ventral elongated slender setae, 12 strong and short spines on medial portion of tibia ( Fig. 21C View FIGURE 21 ). Cymbium as long as wide with 4 apical spines. Embolus smaller than tegulum and slightly curved ( Fig. 21C View FIGURE 21 ). PLS: basal, medial and apical, 0.47, 0.47, 0.44 long.

Female (IBSP 167160). Color: carapace in dorsal view yellowish, carapace in ventral view, legs and abdomen whitish. Total length 3.04. Carapace 1.60 long, 1.16 wide. Abdomen 1.44 long. Fovea 0.15. Clypeus 0.03. Ocular tubercle 0.15 long, 0.20 wide. Eyes: six, posterior row slightly recurved. AME absent, ALE 0.07, PME 0.03, PLE 0.11. Basal segment of chelicerae with 10 prolateral teeth, and 10 smaller mesobasal teeth. Labium 0.19 long, 0.29 wide. Sternum 0.69 wide, 0.79 long. Palp lost; Legs I: femur 1.22/ patella 0.63/ tibia 1.04/ metatarsus 0.72/ tarsus 0.63/ total 4.24; II: 0.94/ 0.50/ 0.63/ 0.60/ 0.54/ 3.21; III: 0.94/ 0.44/ 0.60/ 0.72/ 0.57/ 3.27; IV: 1.19/ 0.66/ 1.10/ 0.94/ 0.69/ 4.58; Leg formula 4132. Spination: palp lost, except tarsus. Legs I: femur p1, patella v1, p1, tibia v1-1 - 3ap, p1, metatarsus v1 b-1ap; II: femur p1, patella v1, p1-1, tibia v1-1 -3ap, p1, metatarsus v1-1 -1, p1; III: femur p1, r1, patella v2, p1-1, r1-1, tibia d1-1-1, v1-1 -3ap, p1-1, r1-1-1, metatarsus d1-2, v2-3 -3ap, p1-1, r1; IV: femur p1, patella v1, p1, r1, tibia d1-1, v1-1 -2-3ap, p1-1, r2-1-1, metatarsus d1-2, v3-3 -3ap, p1, r1-1. Palpal claw with 17 teeth. Spermathecae bilobed with strongly projected base, external and internal lobe connected at base, and apex globose ( Fig. 21D–E View FIGURE 21 ). PLS: basal, medial and apical, 0.41, 0.32, 0.32 long.
