Diagnosis. Body black, without metallic reflections; clypeal margin not incised (cf. Figs 1–2); F3–F5 large, with sensilla; mesosoma distinctly convex (cf. Fig. 9); pecten regular, about 3/4 length of hind tibia; forewing with basal cell mainly glabrous and without distinct bare area between R and apical margin (cf. Fig. 35); ovipositor sheaths about 0.4X as long as hind tibia; hypopygium about in middle of gaster (Fig. 26).

Description. Female.

Body length. 1.5 mm.

Color. Body black, without metallic reflections. Eye pale red. Antenna black, mandible yellowish, coxae, femora and tibiae brown, except distal end of tibiae, which is yellowish. Tarsi yellowish, with distal segment brown. Tegula yellowish-brown, venation brownish, wings hyaline.

Head. In frontal view slightly wider than high. POL about 1.6X OOL. Eye height about 1.3X length. Malar space about 0.4X eye height. Oral fossa slightly more than half head width. Scape shorter than eye height; combined length of pedicel and flagellum almost as long as breadth of head; pedicel length in lateral view about 1.8X width; F1–F2 anelliform and without sensilla, F3–F5 large, with sensilla; F3–F4 length about 1.2X width, F5 length about 1.3X width; clava length about 2.4X width, longer than F3–F5.

Mesosoma. Clearly arched dorsally, length about 1.4X width and about 1.5X height. Forewing length about 2.4X width, with basal cell mainly bare, with 8 hairs in its distal part and on the basal and costal veins; speculum narrow, reaching R. M:R:P = 41:7:9; stigma rather small, somewhat longer than wide; without distinct bare area between R and apical margin. Pecten regular, about 3/4 length of hind tibia.

Gaster (Fig. 26). Including ovipositor sheaths, length about 2.1X width and about 1.4 as long as mesosoma. Ovipositor sheaths about 0.4X as long as hind tibia. Hypopygium about in middle of gaster.

Male. Unknown; based on female characters the male will probably prove to have enlarged eyes and normal scape.
