Remarks. Laporte described a 6 ‘units’ long specimen with brown pronotum having the posterior angles strongly prolonged; the elytra yellowish with a large median black band (interpreted here to mean that the elytra are black with wide pale lateral and sutural margins). His description of the penultimate segment as yellow may indicate he described a female.
