Material. Syntype of Luciola mehadiensis , genus not determined, label handwritten by Motschulsky: “ Luciola mehadiensis Dahl., Hungaria. ”. Only the right elytra and part of the legs have been preserved ( Kazantsev & Nikitsky 2008).
