Luciola dilatata Pic 1929 View in CoL
Luciola dilatata Pic 1929: 73 View in CoL . McDermott 1966: 103.
Type. VIETNAM (as Tonkin). Presumed male, fragmentary (parts of elytra only) ( MNHN) .
Remarks. Pic characterized this species with reddish pronotum and black convex-sided elytra (hence the specific name) which had the front part of the suture red. It is possible that this and L. klapperichi are synonymous.
