HISTORIQUE. — Précédemment cité de Guyane comme Lonomia descimoni Lemaire, 1972 ( Lemaire 2002) .

RÉPARTITION GÉOGRAPHIQUE. — Guyane (Brechlin et al. 2011). Brésil (Pará): San Antônio do Tauá (BOLD).

DISTRIBUTION EN GUYANE. — Connu des trois zones biogéographiques.

HABITAT EN GUYANE. — Forêt primaire.
