Longchuanacris bilobatus , sp. nov.
( Figs 22–36 View FIGURES 22 – 36 , 51–52 View FIGURES 49 – 56 )
Type material
Holotype: male, CHINA: Yunnan, Lianghe County, 24º48’ N, 98º12’ E, 1300m, 29 Jul. 2005, collected by Ji-shan Xu ( CLDU). Paratypes: 4 males and 1 female, same data as the holotype ( CLDU) but collected by Ben-yong Mao ( CLDU) and Ji-shan Xu ( CLDU).
Diagnosis
The new species is closely related to L. macrofurculus as demonstrated by furculae upright large, supraanal plate scutate and coloration pattern similar, but male can be distinguished by characters listed in Table 1.

Etymology
The name refers to the bilobate cerci in male.
Description
Size small. Fastigium broad, width in front of eyes about 2.7–3.2 (2.96, on the average, n=5, male) or 3.0 (female) times larger than length. Interocular distance 1.3–1.5 (1.40, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.6 (female) times larger than width between antennae. Face sloping, foveolate; frontal ridge with low longitudinal sulcus along entire length; lateral margins nearly parallel. Lateral facial keels straight. Antennae filiform, reaching beyond coxa of hind leg (male) or not reaching to posterior margin of pronotum (female), any middle segment 3.2–3.3 (3.24, on the average, n=5, male) or 2.4 (female) times longer than wide. Eyes oval, longitudinal diameter about 1.4–1.5 (1.42, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.5 (female) times as long as horizontal one, and about 2.4–2.5 (2.48, on the average, n=5, male) or 2.0 (female) times as long as subocular furrow. Pronotum nearly cylindrical, foveolate and rugose; anterior margin nearly straight; posterior margin with a shallow breach; median carina indistinct, three sulci distinctly transverse; lateral carinae absent (fig. 22); prozona 2.4– 2.8 (2.58, on the average, n=5, male) or 3.0 (female) times as long as metazona. Prosternal spine conical, weakly and backwards oblique, apex subacute. Mesosternal lobes 1.1–1.2 (1.12, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.2 (female) times wider than long; mesosternal interspace 2.7–3.3 (3.12, on the average, n=5, male) or 1.7 (female) times as long as minimum width; metasternal lobes contiguous (male) or weakly separate (female) (figs 24–25). Tegmina narrow scalelike, length 2.7–3.7 (3.00, on the average, n=5, male) or 2.9 (female) times larger than maximum width, reaching at posterior margin of 1st abdominal tergite. Hind femur with upper carina smooth, terminating in an obtuse angle; apex of lower genicular lobes spinous. Hind tibiae with apical half nearly cylindrical, with 8 external and 9–10 internal spines on dorsal side; external apical spine present. Abdomen with median carina. Tympana opening distinct, oval.
Male genitalia. 10th abdominal tergite narrowly excised in middle, with furculae upright, large and oblong (figs 26–28). Supra-anal plate scutate with median area distinctly raised and longitudinally furrowed in basal half; lateral margin a little raised; posterior margin roundly protrudent in middle (fig. 26). Cerci triangular, compressed, reaching to apex of supra-anal plate; apex incurve and bilobate, dorsal branch longer than ventral branch (figs 26–27). Subgenital plate conical; apex obtuse. Epiphallus with oblong lophi nearly projecting in a 90° angle from bridge; anchorae with apex obtuse; anterior projections outward oblique, posterior sides nearly straight in lateral view; lateral plate with external margin weakly concave (figs 31–33); bridge distinctly divided in middle. Phallic complex illustrated (figs 34–36). Ectophallic membrane with an extra, spoonshaped sclerite (fig. 35).
Female genitalia. Supra-anal plate almost rhombic with a median longitudinal furrow in basal half; median area broadly and longitudinally raised; posterior margin prominently protruding in middle. Cerci conical with apex subobtuse. Valves of ovipositor narrow with obtuse teeth along margins (fig. 29). Subgenital plate with median area concave; posterior margin nearly straight with two obtuse dentes and a long triangular median flap (fig. 30).
Coloration (figs 51–52). Frons and clypei yellowish green. Genae yellowish green with an oblique black stripe below eyes (fig. 23). Antennae with basal 3–4 segments bluish green, the others gradually dark towards apex. Eyes brown. Vertex and occiput bluish green. Postocular bands black, continued on dorsal area of lateral lobes of pronotum, tegmina and 5th abdominal tergite. Pronotum with disc bluish green; lateral lobes with two yellow maculations, inferior margins black. Tegmina black, except anal areas green. Fore and middle legs yellow, except tibiae and tarsi bluish green. Hind femora with basal four fifths yellow or greenish yellow, apical one fifth orange or orange red; knees black; hind tibiae and tarsi blue. Abdominal tergites darkish green; abdominal sternites and terminalia yellow. Furculae, cerci and apical half of supra anal plate black in male.
Measurements
