Leucophenga sinupenis View in CoL sp. nov.
( Figs 4 View FIGURE 4 B, 9G, 9H, 12D–F, 16I, 16J, 37)
Diagnosis. This species is similar to L. retihirta sp. nov. in the thorax nearly entirely dark brown, but can be distinguished from the latter by having the aedeagus slightly concaved distoventrally, round apically, with pubescence distally ( Fig. 37 View FIGURE 37 D); the paramere lack pubescence, with 11 sensilla medially ( Fig. 37 View FIGURE 37 C).
Description. Ocellar triangle dark brown, with 2–3 setae above ocellar setae. Frons brown. Pedicel yellowish brown; first flagellomere yellow. Clypeus brown. Palpus brownish yellow, brownish at tip. Mesonotum and pleura dark brown ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 C). Postpronotal lobe brownish ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 H). Acrostichal setulae in 10–12 irregular rows ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 H). Scutellum dark brown, yellow at tip ( Fig. 9 View FIGURE 9 H). Wing ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 B): Costal vein between R2+3 and R4+5 distally with 5–8 peg-like spinules on ventral surface. Abdominal tergites brown to dark brown, with yellow patches ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 D–F), but medially yellowish to brown on 2nd and 3rd tergites in male ( Fig. 12 View FIGURE 12 D, E). Male terminalia: Epandrium nearly entirely pubescent, with 2 setae near posterior and ventral margin per side ( Fig. 37 View FIGURE 37 A).
