Distribution. Southeastern Atlantic and tropical north Pacific ( Vinogradov et al. 1996). The present western Mexico records are the third documented for the eastern Pacific: central Gulf of California to off SW Mexico (17°56’00”N) ( Fig. 5 ).

Remark s. Reported in the upper 100 m ( Vinogradov et al. 1996).
