Material examined. CHINA: 1♂, Tongmu Villege, 720–900 m, 27˚30ʹN, 117˚40ʹE, Wuyi Mountains, Nanping , Fujian Province, 27–30.IV.2015, Q. Wang ( SYNU) ; 1♂, Guanshan Forestry Center, 2025 m 31˚51ʹN, 109˚69ʹE, Yintiaoling Nature Reserve , Wuxi County, Chongqing, 13.VIII.2022, Y. Li ( SYNU) .

Distribution. China (Chongqing, Fujian), Japan (Hokkaidō, Honshū), Russia (S. Far East).

Diagnosis. This species can be diagnosed by the description of Mesnil & Shima (1979) and the key of Shima (1988). Body length 15.6–16.5 mm. Vertex 0.17–0.19 of head width. Gena 0.25–0.31 of eye height; ocellar seta fine hair-like; antennae yellow, distinctly longer than gena height; arista plumise. Prosternum bare, thorax with 4 longitudinal black vittae on presutural scutum, Postpronotal lobe reddish yellow, 2 postpronotal setae; 1 presutural and zero postsutural acrostichal seta, 2 presutural and 3 postsutural dorsocentral setae, 2 supra-alar setae and 1 postsutural intra-alar seta, scutellum with 2 pairs of marginal setae; inner anterior surface of fore coxa mostly bare, postmetacoxal area sclerotized. Tegula black, basicosta brown. legs slender, legs and abdomen mostly yellow. Legs very long, reddish yellow. Abdominal syntergite 1+2 medially excavated only on base, not extending to posterior margin, 3rd and 4th tergites each with one or two pairs of median discal setae. Male tergite 5 narrowed posteriorly and forming an elongate tail. Male terminalia see Mesnil & Shima, 1979: 479.
