Remarks: The species was described from “ Syria, Alexandrette”. This is the old name of Iskenderun, which now belongs to Turkey. L. pici is said to be quite similar to L. byzantina , but in L. pici the posterior corners of the pronotum are tooth-like, whereas in L. byzantina these corners are rounded. The apicales of the aedeagi are also slightly different (compare Figs. 33, 37 View FIGURES 22–46 ). See also remarks under L. glabriuscula .
Published locality: Alexandrette (= Iskenderun) ( Schuster 1916).
