Remarks. Wu (1962) indicated the holotype male of Kamimuria cheni in the Yeching University collection was destroyed during the war years. Sivec and Stark (2008) listed K. cheni as a nomen dubium, because the type was lost. However, Du had collected specimens of K. cheni from the type locality. Additionally, other specimens of K. cheni were identified by Wu, from “Sichuan province, Guan county, 29 May 1939, 1 male, Leg. Zhou Yao and from Shaanxi province, Zhouzhi county and Mei county, 8 males and 5 females, Leg. Unknown”, and Wu (1973) listed this new distribution. These specimens are deposited in the Zoological Museum, Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Science. Du identified 4 male specimens from the type locality; these specimens are in close agreement with Wu’s description, particularly in his reference to “the (hemitergal) tips of which not reaching to the posterior margin of the 9th tergite. The redescription and illustrations presented herein will enhance our knowledge of the species and allow others to confidently identify this species in the future. The Du specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection of Yangzhou University now.
