Description. Length (including wings): male 5.1 mm.

Head and pronotum reddish brown ( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 C–D). Face with black markings around ocelli ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 D). Pronotum basal half dark brown. Mesoscutum and scutellum red with black markings ( Fig. 1 View FIGURE 1 C).

Anteclypeus much surpassing apex of gena. Rostrum slender. Face with few short setae under eyes. Forewing with crossvein m-cu1 present. Other characters as in generic description.

Male pygofer dorsal margin with transverse apodeme; ventral margin concave subapically, with inner process, not reaching caudal margin, apex of anal collar broad with short lobe in middle ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 A). Subgenital plate as long as pygofer, with several fine setae on dorsal margin, and few fine setae on ventral margin. Connective with membranous margins. Style with few fine lateral setae, apex rounded ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 F). Aedeagal shaft broad medially in ventral view, apical half curved dorsally, apex spade-shaped, without pair of lamellate processes in middle, ventral margin smooth; subapical process acuminate, without lateral short teeth near apex ( Figs. 2 View FIGURE 2 D–E).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the pygofer ventral margin being concave subapically.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Mengla, Longmen , 930m, 17-v-2009, coll. Cui Wei, at light ( NWAFU) . Paratype: 1♂, CHINA, Yunnan Prov., Menglun , 19-v-1991, coll. Wang Yinglun & Tian Rungang ( NWAFU) .

Remarks. This new species is very close to J. hainanensis Zhang & Li in having a similar shaped aedeagus and style. However, the lamellate processes of the aedeagus are absent in the new species, whereas J. hainanensis has the aedeagus with a pair of lamellate processes near the midlength.
