Laxly caespitose, with a stout stock. Flowering stems (10-)20- 40 cm, decumbent, leafless for somedistance below the capitulum. Leaves 7-15(-25) x 1 -5-3 mm, oblong, often sinuate-crenate, glabrous or sparsely pubescent, usually widest above the middle. Involucral bracts ovate to lanceolate, green, crenate-serrate. Calyx-teeth glabrous or villous. • C. Spain, N. & C. Portugal.
