Xyleborus pseudocolossus Schedl, 1942: 28 View in CoL .

Ambrosiodmus pseudocolossus (Schedl) View in CoL : Wood & Bright, 1992: 679.

Diagnosis: Elytral declivity surrounded by a raised costa, bearing a row of small teeth extending from the upper margin to the apex, teeth pointed in upper half, becoming bluntly tipped in lower half; striae and interstriae distinct on declivity; declivital vestiture of fine hairs close to suture, the hairs becoming flattened towards sides of declivity, semi-erect and directed obliquely towards suture. Eye with lower part larger than upper part. Anterior margin of pronotum with four strong asperities partly fused together. Large species, 5.7‒6.0 mm long.

Taxonomy: The description, and a photograph of the holotype (NMW) indicate that the species has the characters of Immanus , and it is therefore transferred to that genus from Ambrosiodmus . It was previously known only from the holotype collected in Java.

Distribution: Indonesia (Java), Thailand, West Malaysia.

New records: Pen[insula] Malaysia, Negeri Sembilan, Pasoh Forest Reserve, Tower‒A‒S9, Ethanol trap, 28.vii.‒18.viii.1995, K. Maeto (RAB, 1); as previous except: Tower‒A‒13, 11.iv.1993 (RAB, 1). Thailand, Phang Nga Province, Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, 8°39'22.4"N 98°17'31.6"E, Tropical Rainforest, Ethanol baited trap, 01.ix.2014, W.
