[ Type: UNSM; Glen , Sioux Co., Nebraska, USA; August 17, 1906]

Hylaeus megalotis occurs in the xeric regions of North America. This species was collected in El Mayor in the Lower Colorado Desert in April 1939. To our knowledge, there are no recent records of this species in the BCP. See fig. 163.
