Homoeogenus Waterhouse, 1880 Fig. 33 View Figs
Discussion. Homoeogenus is a small genus with only eight species. The genus was revised and the larva and pupa described and illustrated by Lee and Yang (1993). Additional species were described by Lee and Yang (1995). The species are found in India, Myanmar, Laos, China, Taiwan, and the Philippine Islands. Larvae have been found in still water on dead leaves (Lee and Yang 1999b). Larvae resemble Granuleubria larvae; however, the ninth abdominal segment is more elongate, and the paratergites are more acicular ( Fig. 33 View Figs ).
