Diagnosis. Disc of metepisternum with tuft of plumose, thick, short, white hairs ( Fig. 5B, D View FIGURE 5 ). Male: clypeus with small, contiguous punctures (at base 3.5 times OD); large interantennal distance (3.4 times antennocular distance); frons, upper and middle part of paraocular area with pubescence of golden hairs; scutum with small punctures (0.2 times OD) ( Fig. 5A View FIGURE 5 ); posterior margin of S1 produced to median rounded angle, in profile, with low ventral angle in more than one third of distance from apex to base ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 Ba); S5 with two rectangular lobes and two rounded tufts of capitate hairs directed medially ( Fig. 5E View FIGURE 5 ); S6 with posterior margin produced to right-angled apex, with blackish subapical margin, with two subapical tufts of 3 to 4 thick, long, hairs together resembling an acute spike ( Fig. 5F View FIGURE 5 ). Female: clypeus with 6 tubercles on apical margin and large punctures (0.3 times OD); frons with hooked, golden hairs; T3 with small (half DOP as on scutum), and sparse punctures (2 times DOP).
Description. Male: Body length 5.6 mm (4.7–5.9, n=6); forewing length 3.5 mm (3.1–3.5, n=6).
Head. Rounded, about as long as broad; length 1.58 mm (1.5–1.6, n=6); width 1.7 mm (1.5–1.7, n=6); eyes about 3.3 times longer than broad, 1.8 times wider than gena in profile, convergent below; lower interocular distance 0.8 mm (0.7–0.8, n=6); upper interocular distance 1 mm (0.9–1.1, n=6); interantennal distance 3.4 times antennocular distance; lateral ocelli large, 3 times DOP in interocellar area, median ocellus comparable; interocellar distance 2 times OD; ocellocular distance 1.7 times OD; OPR 0.9 times OD; labrum with basal median elevation with two cusps, posterior margin slightly rounded; mandible with two teeth, apical subtriangular and preapical quadrate, both almost same width; proboscis in repose reaching posteriormost edge of hypostomal carina, not surpassing it; hypostomal edge In ventral view carinate, bent laterally on anterior and posterior sections; malar space linear, without posterior projection; clypeus truncate, 1.5 times broader than long, lower half convex in profile, apical margin with concave medial emargination occupying 0.3 of clypeal width; juxtantennal carina absent; antenna black; scape length 0.7 times alveolocellar distance, 2.4 times longer than wide; pedicel as long as broad, about 1.2 times longer than F1 and about as long as F2; F1 as broad as long, slightly smaller than F2, remaining flagellomeres 1.4 longer than first; F11 1.8 times longer than broad. Mesosoma. Propleura with strong angle not carinate; pronotal lobe carinate reaching rounded dorsolateral angles of pronotum; mesepisternum bent on dorsal and ventral edges; scutum 3 times longer than scutellum, 3 times longer than tegula, 3.6 longer than axilla, bent anteriorly with vertical and dorsal surface; intertegular distance 1.2 mm (1–1.2, n=6); axilla subtriangular, not pointy; metanotum with transverse ridge, in posterior view with medial acute elevation; propodeum with small to midsized pits, 0.1 mm long; legs dark; fore coxa subtriangular, bulky, convex except on anterior margin; fore trochanter conic, 2 times longer than broad; fore femur swollen, 2.3 times longer than wide; fore tibia slightly conic, 3.1 times longer than broad, with posterior external spike of 0.04 mm long; fore basitarsus 2.5 times longer than broad, with two lateral, rounded projections; fore tarsal segment 2 about as long as broad, 3 and 4 becoming shorter; tarsal segment 5 trapezoid, 1.8 times longer than broad on its posterior margin, with two bifurcated claws, arolium conic or slightly ligulate; mid coxa oval, with two vertical, divergent carinae, where femur fits; mid trochanter 1.5 times longer than broad; femur swollen, 2.2 times longer than broad; mid tibia slightly bent, 7 times longer than broad, with posterior spike similar to the one in fore tibia; mid basitarsus 4.2 times longer than broad; rest of mid tarsal segments as in fore leg; hind coxa flat dorsolaterally, subquadrangular medially and rounded on external sides; hind trochanter 1.2 times longer than broad; hind femur 2.2 times longer than broad; hind tibia 3.5 times longer than broad, posterior margin with external spike and inner spur; hind basitarsus 3.1 times longer than broad. Metasoma. Nearly parallel-sized; T1 1.4 mm broad (1.2–1.4, n=6); T3 1.6 mm broad (1.4–1.6, n=6); T6 with posterior margin projected, in profile with rounded elevation 0.5 mm from apex to base, 0.3 mm wide; S1 posterior margin produced to median angle, not emarginate, slightly rounded, with two lateral, rounded projections on each side, in profile, with posterior margin projected and soft ventral angle more than one third of distance from apex to base; S2 truncate, with two wide, soft lobes at posterior margin, with two rounded elevations on each side of disc; S3 and S4 similar to S2 but less sclerotized; terga, S1 and S2 with black integument.
Sculpturing. Mandible with outer surfaces bright with micropunctures without larger punctures, carinae smooth and shiny; labrum with dense micropunctures; clypeus with small (at base 0.3 times OD), contiguous, coarse punctures, smaller towards apex and medially, shiny between punctures; supraclypeal area with punctures smaller, denser than base of clypeus, slightly bigger, more coarsely but equally sparser on frons, even bigger on frons in front of ocelli and vertex, frons and vertex with microreticulate integument as rest of face; hypostomal area with fine, minute punctures, DBP half DOP or less, bigger, sparser towards gena; gena evenly punctate as on frons in front of ocelli; anterior surface of propleuron with punctation as on disc of clypeus, lateral surface with dense micropunctures as on labrum; dorsal surface of pronotum as on anterior surface of propleuron, anterior surface with medium-sized and sparser punctation, becoming smaller, denser and coarser on dorsolateral angles; disc of scutum with smaller (0.2 times OD), denser punctures than on vertex, bigger towards external margin; rest of mesosoma as on scutum except: scutellum with punctures bigger, sparser, smaller towards external margin; mesepisternum with punctures sparser, with micropunctures between punctures; metepisternum with smaller punctures, less dense, coarse; lateral surface of propodeum with even smaller punctures; posterior surface of propodeum with smaller, less coarse, sparser punctures, except on wide impunctate vertical midline; tegula with fine, minute, scattered punctures; fore coxa with punctation as on propleuron; fore trochanter and femur with smaller sparser punctation than coxa; fore tibia and tarsal segments with less coarse, sparser punctation than on femur; mid and hind legs similar to fore legs except: mid femur with denser punctation, hind coxa with bigger, sparser punctation, hind tibia with bigger, coarser, sparser punctation; metasomal terga smooth, shiny between punctures, becoming smaller towards posterior margin, with line of small punctures where fasciae attach; T1 and T2 with punctation as on scutum, slightly sparser; T3 with smaller, sparser punctures than on T1, slightly horseshoe-shaped, separated by half DOP; T4 and T5 with bigger, denser, coarser punctation than on T3; dorsal surface of T6 with smaller, equally sparser punctation than on T5, on posterior surface with bigger, notably sparser punctation, DBP half DOP; S1 with punctation as on T1, but slightly bigger; sides of S2 similar to on T1; integument of disc in S2 with integument without punctation; S3 and S4 as disc of S2, but less sclerotized; S5 to S8 with less sclerotized, smooth, shiny, amber integument than on S3 and S4.
Vestiture. Mandible with plumose, white hairs at base and simple, golden hairs at apex; labrum without tuft; clypeus covered with plumose, white, of similar length evenly distributed on its entire surface; paraocular area with plumose, white hairs on its entire surface; frons with plumose, thin, golden hairs directed medially; preoccipital area with rows of plumose, white hairs directed dorsally; hypostomal area with plumose, long, white hairs, in frontal view surpassing mandible; dorsal surface of pronotum with rows of plumose, short, white hairs; dorsolateral angles with plumose, white hairs continuing on anterior margin of scutum forming, a single continuous, transverse, linear band; pronotal lobe on posterior area of carina with plumose, thin, dense, white hairs; scutum with transverse pubescence of plumose, white hairs on sides continuing on posterior margin of scutellum, directed dorsally, increasing in length towards scutellum; scutum and mesepisternum with simple, thin, short, scattered, golden hairs on punctures; lateral surface of mesepisternum with lower two thirds and ventral surface with plumose, thin, white hairs; disc of metepisternum with tuft of plumose, thick, short, white hair; sides of propodeum, and posterior surface of propodeum with hairs as on mesepisternum; anterior surface of T1 with plumose, thin, scattered, white hairs, on posterior area of transverse carina with row of plumose, short, sparse, erected, white hairs; terga with fasciae of row of dense, short, white hairs, increasing in length towards sides, increasing in number of rows on T1; T4 to T6 with plumose, scattered, white hairs in punctures, with row of simple, scattered, short hairs on posterior margin.
Terminalia . Posterior margin of S5 with two rectangular lobes, two rounded tufts of capitate hairs directed medially, simple short hairs directed outward, with transverse, thin, dark, subapical line ( Fig. 5E View FIGURE 5 ; Posterior margin of S6 produced to right-angled apex, with blackish subapical margin, with two subapical tufts of 3 to 4 long, thick, hairs, together resembling an acute spike ( Fig. 5F View FIGURE 5 ); S7 produced to rounded wide medial angle, with sclerotized line on posterior margin; S8 arrow-shaped, simple hairs spread on posterior third, medial line from base to two thirds of S8 and lateral, thin extensions, joining together at tips, surrounding genital capsule; genital capsule in dorsal view 0.8 mm length, 0.3 mm width, 2.7 times longer than wide, gonobase 0.08 mm length, 3.8 times wider than long, gonocoxite 0.3 mm length, gonostylus 0.7 mm length with rounded apex, penis valve 0.6 mm length, with lateral, rounded lamellas in posterior half.
Female: Body length 5.1 mm (5.1–6.8, n=6); forewing length 4.0 mm (3.4–4, n=6). Similar to male except: Head. Length 1.8 mm (1.5–1.8, n=6); width 1.8 mm (1.6–1.9, n=6); eyes about 3.7 times longer than broad, 1.9 times wider than gena in profile; lower interocular distance 0.9 mm (0.8–1, n=6); upper interocular distance 1.1 mm (1–1.2, n=6); interantennal distance 1.8 times antennocular distance; interocellar distance 2.2 times OD, ocellocular distance 1.7 times OD; OPR 1-time OD; mandible with strong outer and condylar ridges parallel, without tubercle on outer surface, with toothlike elevation on dorsal margin; three teeth, apical longer than second, both subtriangular and almost same width, third right-angulated; clypeus without emargination and apical margin with six rounded tubercles; scape 3.2 times longer than broad; pedicel 1.3 longer than broad, about 1.6 times longer than F1 and 1.3 longer than F2; F1 broader than long, remaining flagellomeres 1.8 longer than F1. Mesosoma. Scutum 3 times longer than scutellum; intertegular distance 1.4 mm (1.2–1.4, n=6). Metasoma. T1 1.5 mm broad (1.3–1.6, n=6); T3 1.7 mm broad (1.5–1.8, n=6); T6 with posterior margin slightly projected and subapical margin, in profile, almost straight; all sterna truncate, with lighter margin; S1 with shallow, wide emargination along margin and small process in profile near base; S6 with rounded apex.
Sculpturing. Mandibles dull with micropunctures without larger puctures, carinae smooth and shiny; labrum with punctation as on mandible; clypeus with large (0.3 times OD), dense, coarse and contiguous punctures, microreticulate between punctures; supraclypeal area with punctures bigger than those on base of clypeus, bigger, less coarse, and sparser on frons, smaller on frons in front of ocelli; vertex as on clypeus; gena evenly punctate as on frons in front of ocelli, with large punctation and less DBP; scutum with punctation as on vertex, smaller towards external margin; rest of mesosoma as on scutum except: scutellum with bigger and sparser punctures; mesepisternum with punctures slightly smaller; metasomal terga dull, microreticulate between punctures; T1 and T2 with punctation as on scutum, slightly sparser. T3 with punctures half DOP as on scutum, horseshoe-shaped, and sparser (2 times DOP) than on T1; dorsal surface of T6 with smaller, denser, and more coarsely punctures than on T5; sterna with punctation as on scutum, with micropunctures on posterior margin.
Vestiture. Mandible with few golden hairs at apex and ventral margin; clypeus with simple, golden hairs evenly distributed; frons with hooked, golden hairs; hypostomal area with few simple, golden hairs; gena with plumose, white hairs evenly distributed; T4 to T6 with simple, scattered, thin, white hairs in punctures; subapical margin of T6 with linear tuft of plumose, short, yellowish hairs; scopa with hooked, thin, long hairs and posterior margin of S6 with transverse tuft of plumose, short, yellowish hairs.

Distribution. This species is distributed along the west coast in Mexico on the Pacific slope, between northern Sinaloa and Chiapas, in areas with a tropical dry forest, mostly corresponding to the Pacific Lowlands biogeographic province ( Morrone et al. 2022) ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 ). Altitudinal range: 105 to 1426 m.
Etymology. This species is dedicated to the Mexican curator and art historian Amanda de la Garza, General Director of Visual Arts and the University Museum of Contemporary Art from UNAM (MUAC). Her professional practice has focused on contemporary art and archival exhibitions, contributing greatly to Mexico’s cultural scene.
Comments. There is variation among the females on the DBP on scutum, from one third to one fourth, as well as on the DOP on T3 varying from larger than on T1 to smaller than on T3, but as coarse as T3. Among males there is a small variation on the interantennal distance and on DBP and DOP on T3.
