Material examined. COLOMBIA (new country record), Boyacá: Otanche, 1 female, 2.IV.2018, local collector ( DHCO).
This species was described based on a single specimen from Peru, currently deposited at the USNM. Dillon & Dillon (1945) described the same species, as Helvina lypera , based on male and females from Peru and Bolivia. Currently the species is known from Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia ( Monné 2020b).
