Gressittella Medvedev, 2009 View in CoL
(Type species: Gressittella riedeli Medvedev, 2009 )
Gressittella foveipennis ( Bryant,1950) new combination
Tricliona foveipennis Bryant, 1950: 359 .
Remarks. Gressittella , described by Medvedev (2009) for three species from Papua New Guinea, can be distinguished from Bathseba by the anterior margin of lateral arms of prosternum not distinctly convex, often more or less straight (strongly convex in Bathseba ). Hence T. foveipennis Bryant, 1950 , which has anterior margin of lateral arms of prosternum not distinctly convex, is transferred to Gressittella . Gressittella riedeli Medvedev, 2009 , is very similar to G. foveipennis ( Bryant,1950) n. comb., except for the deep, rather regular elytral punctation in G. foveipennis . In G. riedlei , elytra have large and deep confused punctures, with one or two more or less regular rows along the suture.
