9. Flatocerus guizhouensis Wang *

In: Fanjingshan Mountain ( Wang 1992)

10. Flatocerus wuyishanensis Zheng

Notes. Our collections are similar to F. wuyishanensis Zheng ( Zheng 1991, 2005), F. chishuiensis Zheng & Shi ( Zheng and Shi 2006), F. nigritibialis Zheng, Bai & Xu ( Zheng et al. 2011a) and F. nigrifemura Zheng, Zhang & Zeng ( Zheng et al. 2011b). To these allied species, their main differences are: (1) width of vertex (vertex 1.1–1.3 times as wide as one eye, only F. wuyishanensi was described as 1.5 times); (2) prozonal carinae and interhumeral carinae (invisible, barely visible or visible); (3) hind process (nearly reaching or reaching apex of hind femur in female, while slightly beyond in male); and (4) hind wings (as well as hind process, nearly reaching or reaching apex of hind process in female, while slightly beyond in male). In contrast, all these differences are minor, which is tenuous to separate them into different species. Geographically, F. wuyishanensis , F. nigrifemura and our collections have the same distribution (Fanjingshan Mountain, Guizhou, China); F. chishuiensis was also reported in Guizhou (Chishui and Xishui) ( Figure 1 View Figure 1 ). For these reasons, herein we combine these allied species into one species.
