Examined material. 19 sh. (MACN-In 40676).
Description. Shell height to 4.9 mm; turritelliform, solid. Protoconch large, of about 2.25 whorls, sculptured with about 25 strong, closely arranged, axial ribs per whorl; transition to teleoconch not clearly defined. Teleoconch of up to 6 whorls, markedly convex in outline; last whorl comprising about 40% of total shell height. Suture impressed. Surface pale brown; sculptured with 14 to 18 strong axial ribs and 2 low spiral cords. An additional, strong cord appears at the suture and delimits the base. Aperture ovate, interior pale brown; columellar callus narrow; siphonal canal extremely short, markedly oblique, wide.
