Diagnosis. Eudonia microdontalis ( Hampson, 1907) is similar to E. persimilis Sasaki, 1991 in appearance and male genitalia. It can be distinguished easily by the phallus curved near base in the male genitalia, and the ductus bursae looped four times in the female genitalia. In E. persimilis , the phallus is straight near base, and the ductus bursae bears two loops.
Distribution. China (Gansu, Hubei, Hunan, Zhejiang), Japan, Russia.
