E. grouvellei Portevin, 1903a: 164 ;
Jeannel, 1936: 52 (“ lectotype designation” and illustration); Salgado, 2011d: 43 (male type seen).
Lectotype male in MNHN (designated by Jeannel 1936: 52 by use of “type” for one male from Cochabamba [our interpretation, based on Art. 74.5 of ICZN, 1999]).
Type locality: Cochabamba [Department], Bolivia (designated by Jeannel 1936: 52). Note: The original description included syntypes from two “type localities” (1 male and 1female from “ Cochabamba ” ([Cochabamba Department] Bolivia) and 1 male from Marcapata ([Cuzco Department] Peru), [probably] in Grouvelle collection), in MNHN [in Jeannel, 1936, who states “one male type” and gives Cochabamba as type locality, referring only to this record as “type”; Hatch, 1928: 158 also refers only to Bolivia and cites Jeannel, 1921: 233 (Fig. 1 – 4), who only illustrates the species, with no reference to distribution].
Distribution: Bolivia: Cochabamba Department; Peru: Cuzco Department.
