Entypus bituberculatus ( Guérin-Méneville, 1838)

Pompilus bituberculatus Guérin-Méneville, 1838: 258 .

Entypus bituberculatus was observed dragging the paralyzed wandering spider ( Ctenus ornatus ) backwards, grasping it with its mandibles at the base of the spider’s foreleg (Video 2). The spider had its dorsal side to the ground ( Figs 11–12 , Video 2). The ethological sequence we recorded for E. bituberculatus is represented by the formula VPT.
