Type locality. Tamalelt , Morocco .
Material examined. Two male, SA, Hindmarsh Island, Wyndgate land, - 35.516°S, 138.8762°E, 25m asl, vegetated plot, pitfalls, 4.x.2013 GoogleMaps , PG GH leg; one female, SA, Glen Osmond , - 34.960°S, 138.650°E, 300m asl, under stones, 1.ix.1974, C. Johnston leg. GoogleMaps
Remarks. These specimens have the same colour and chaetotaxy as the described species, including the form of the labral papillae and other structures. Entomobrya mauretanica was previously only known from Morocco. It is clearly an introduced species to Australia and here many thousands of kilometres out of its previous known range.
