Differential diagnosis. Within the genus Enderleinia the species can be separated from E. fumipennis by the colouration of the forewings which is hyaline with 3 brown areas in E. bispina and dominantly brown in E. fumipennis .
Description. Measurements, colouration and habitus: see Maa (1963).
Male terminalia. Pygofer heavily sclerotized in dorso-posterior part, sclerotized part and posterior margin of pygofer covered with yellowish setae. Dorso-posterior appendage of pygofer strongly toothed, extending both upwards and downwards from the point of attachment. Subgenital plates strongly sclerotized, broad basally and medially, narrowing towards the apex. Aedeagus cylindrical with distinctive scaling; apex dorsoventrally flattened, laterally narrowing towards the tip, apex directed anterodorsally. Parameres medially subtriangular, with a fingerlike apex, margins partly covered with long, yellow-brown setae.
Distribution. Togolese Republic ( Schmidt 1907); Ivory Coast, Uganda ( Maa 1963); Ghana ( Bell et al. 2014); Democratic Republic of the Congo ( Lallemand 1958).
