Remarks. Ectoedemia sericopeza can be found everywhere that Acer platanoides occurs, even within urbanized areas. Larvae and cocoons of the summer generation are easily found in and on fallen keys (fruits) in June­July. Old records of adults may include overlooked records of the next two species.
