This species was described from Acrocephalus scirpaceus (Herm., 1804) ( Passeriformes : Sylviidae ) ( Skoracki 1999) and there were no other data since the original description.

Material examined. From rectrices of Aegithalos caudatus ; 7 females (Syr.112) (new host), (LE91371), Poland, Turawa Lake, 0 7.02.2004, leg. G. Hebda; 10 females and 4 nymphs, (LE91334), Poland, Popielow near Opole, 0 7.03.2004, leg. G. Hebda.
