Range: —Base of the eastern Andes from Colombia to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology: —Uncommon; terrestrial in humid forests; 400–1800 m.
Notes: —Fertile leaves are often longer-petiolate and more erect than the sterile ones. When growing in extremely deep shade the leaves are slightly iridescent.
