Type series: Housed in Istituto di Entomologia “Guido Grandi”, University of Bologna and National Museum of Natural History, Leiden. A female from the type series that was slide-mounted by J.T. Wiebes (slide no 487) ( Wiebes 1974) is hereby designated as the Lectotype ( RMNH, examined). The type material housed in Istituto di Entomologia “Guido Grandi”, University of Bologna is stored in ethanol and is badly deteriorated.
