COMMON NAME (S): Owlet Moth, Underwing or Noctuid moth.
SYNONYM(S): Diaphone pyrsonota Tams, 1930 .
IUCN STATUS: Not Evaluated (NE).
DISTRIBUTION: Kenya, Malawi, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia.
LOCALITY IN ZAMBIA: Petauke, in Eastern Province ; Kafue, in Lusaka Province.
LARVAL HOSTPLANT(S): Larval foodplants include one yet to be identified Amaryllidaceae species, Amaryllis sp. , and one yet to be identified Asparagaceae species, Anthericum sp.
