The melanogaster View in CoL group
Species in this group are characterized by the following set of characters: second segment of palpus inserted on apex of first segment, length of postpedicel less than twice length of scape and pedicel combined, palpus segmentation visible and wing with section R4–R5 less than twice section R5–M1. Hypandrium with posterior margin narrowed and elongated medially, cercus shorter than gonocoxite, spermathecae fusiform with semispherical apex. Four species are included: N. carrerai ; N. melanogaster ; N. tenebrosus and N. carolindae sp. nov.
