Daidalotarsonemus digital Lin et al., 1998: 137 ; Lin & Zhang, 2002: 59.
Diagnosis. Female: Gnathosoma : Palpal length about 1/4 length of gnathosoma. Dorsum: Ornamentation all over prodorsum, and tergites C and D. Setae v1, sc2, c1, c2 and h unmodified in shape. Setae v1 as long as sc2 (~ 25). Setae c1 as long as c2 (~ 20), both longer than h (~ 15). Setae c1 inserted near midlength of tergite C. Setae d, e and f leaf-shaped. Setae d and f identical in shape (ensiform), length (~ 35) and width (~ 5). Setae e elliptical in shape, shorter than d and f, but longer than h (~ 20). Setae f ~10 distant from each other, on rounded tubercles. Venter: Tegula truncate, slightly arched posteriorly. Apodemes distinct, except for prosternal apodeme interrupted. Apodemes 2 not fused to prosternal apodeme. Poststernal apodeme bifurcated anteriorly. Male & larva: unknown.
Type material deposition: holotype ♀ and ten paratypes ♀ deposited at FAAS .
Locality: Zhangpin, Fujian Province, China ( Lin et al. 1998).
