Current name. Cycloramphus eleutherodactylus ( Miranda-Ribeiro, 1920) View in CoL — Bokermann (1966: 32).

Synonymy. Synonymized with Cycloramphus eleutherodactylus ( Miranda-Ribeiro, 1920: 270) by Bokermann (1966: 32), without comments. Confirmed by Heyer (1983: 275).

Syntypes. Not designated in the original description. A. Lutz (1929: 12) stated “Tenho alguns adultos e dous exemplares novos da Tijuca (Cascatinha) e da Serra de Cubat„o” (freely translated as “I have some adults and two young specimens from Tijuca (Cascatinha) [Rio de Janeiro] and from the Cubat„o Mountain Range [S„o Paulo]”). Although the type locality was not specifically designated in the original description, Gorham (1966: 47) considered it to be Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, and Serra da Bocaina on the Rio de Janeiro /S„o Paulo boundary, Brazil. Bokermann (1966: 32) stated the type localities to be “Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro, Guanabara; Paranapiacaba (= Serra de Cubat„o), S„o Paulo e Serra da Bocaina , S„o Paulo”, Brazil.

Lectotype. By present designation, AL-MN 908 ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ), collected at “Bonito, Serra da Bocaina ” [22 o 45’S, 44 o 33’W; Datum WGS 84; 1,185 m a.s.l.], Municipality of S„o José do Barreiro , State of S„o Paulo, Brazil, by A.
