NOVA SCOTIA: Kings County: 30 June 1960, H.B. Specht, ACNS.
Newly recorded in Nova Scotia. Found throughout much of the central and eastern United States, except for the Gulf of Mexico coast, north to central Maine ( Gordon 1985); in Canada from Manitoba, Ontario, and Québec ( McNamara 1991). This single specimen might represent either a windblown stray or else a representative of an isolated population. Further research would be desirable to ascertain which.
