Cryptorhopalum robustum Sharp, 1902: 660 . Type material. 3 Syntypes: Lectotype here designated (female): „ Jalapa , [ Vera Cruz ], Mexico, Hoege “ \ „ Type “ [red circle], (BMNH). Paralectotypes (2 females): the same data as lectotype, (BMNH).

Additional material. „ Mexico, Vera Cruz , \ Tolome, 4.vii.[19]41“, 1 male, ( JHAC) .

Remarks. According the characters mentioned by Beal (1975, 1985) the species belongs to the C. triste species group.

Distribution. Species is desribed from Mexico: Vera Cruz.
