Distribution in Russian Federation: Leningrad Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Zemskaya, 1966), Penza Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Stanyukovich, 1997), Kirov Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Zemskaya, 1966), North Osetia (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Stanyukovich, 1997), Sverdlovsk Province (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Orlova & Orlov, 2011), Altai Region (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Marchenko, 2007), Khakassia Republic ( Orlova et al., 2017a), Buryatia Republic (Orlova et al., 2016).
Distribution outside Russian Federation: Europe (Great Britain— Evans & Till, 1966, Spain— Quetglas, 2016, etc.), Asia (Georgia: as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Stanyukovich, 1997), Central America (as Ornithonyssus pipistrelli — Villegas-Guzman et al., 2005).
