Crotchia parallela Fowler, 1886

This species has been cited from Mexico (Guerrero and Tamaulipas), Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Venezuela, and Brazil (Gorham 1887; Martins and Costa 1967). The following specimen represents a new state record for Oaxaca: “ Mexico: Oaxaca, Puerto Angel, 22–23-VI-1987, bosque tropical bajo caducifolio perturbado, luz inc., Alt. 40 m, Morón, Deloya y Delgado cols.” (1♀, IEXA). The genus Crotchia needs revision in order to define its species .
